I’m still debating whether I’ll include a mix cd with the online shirt orders…
it SEEMS quite obvious given my passion for music…
however, there’s the whole being “honest” part with this venture… and sending customers a CD full of music they didn’t pay for nor i received permission to send out… might be an issue…
i’m 85% “go for it” and 15% “nah, champ… let’s not do this…”
the only purpose of the CD is for the customer to get a sense of the ŏn.us.tee vibe… and a chance to expose them to some of the artists we dig… and hopefully get the artists new fans…
so… i’ll start with simply listing the playlist here…
ŏn.us.tees – ŏn.us.playlist – summer 08
- J Dilla aka Jay Dee – Instrumental: Beat 14
- Zo! & Tiggalo – Take On Me
- Gemstones feat. Lupe Fiasco – We On
- Isaac Haye’s – Ike’s Mood
- Gil Scott-Heron – Tuskegee 626
- Jean Grae & 9th Wonder – Don’t Rush Me
- Aya – Sean
- The Wiz Soundtrack – Emerald City: Sequence Red
- J Dilla aka Jay Dee – Instrumental: Beat 32
- School of Beats feat. Freddie Thumps – World Be Free
- Nicolay & Kay – As the Wheel Turns
- Michael Jackson – I Can’t Help It (Todd Terje Remix)
- J Dilla aka Jay Dee – Instrumental: Beat 18
- Median – Comfortable
- Miles Davis – Prayer (Oh Doctor Jesus)
- School of Beats feat. Shak-C – Survive
- J.R. Bailey – After Hours
well, who knows… buy a shirt online… and you may get this mix CD…
I say send them out until you get caught, but that’s just me ;)Or maybe just send out School of Beats stuff…samples of your own music. No point putting people on to other artists’ music when you’ve got your own!
